Together with the software partner Ethalon GmbH, POS Solutions integrated the digital biometric signature into the cash register solution from Görtz. The digital solution is used extensively in all German Görtz branches.

Hamburg Görtz was founded in 1875 by Johann Ludwig Görtz in Hamburg. Over 135 years after the opening of the first 14 sqm shop in Hamburg, Ludwig Görtz GmbH with around 280 branches is one of the largest shoe retailers in Europe.

signPOS at the dealer checkout

With signPOS, the customer signs EC or credit card payment receipts on an LCD signature tray. The electronic original dealer receipt contains the customer’s encrypted signature. This data is inseparable from the receipt and is legally compliant. The signed electronic original dealer voucher is saved in the digital archive directly or after clipboard storage. Due to unique file names (trace number, timestamp, terminal ID etc.), the receipt can be easily found in the case of a direct debit.
